Connections with nature

Expanding Worlds Through Tiny Encounters

A hands-on animal care experience that inspires responsibility and creativity in children. Each session focuses on a fascinating invertebrate—like ants, isopods, or praying mantises—and teaches kids about its unique needs and behaviours.

Children then build their own personalised mini vivarium using fun accessories, encouraging empathy, scientific thinking, and a deeper appreciation for the tiny creatures that help keep our ecosystems thriving.

This hands-on science day camp invites kids aged 10 and up to step into the fascinating world of invertebrates. Through real encounters with ants, mantises, spiders, and other tiny creatures, participants will explore animal behaviour, survival strategies, and their vital roles in nature.

Campers will get up close with live insects, experiment with eco-inspired challenges, and express their learning through creative, upcycled crafts. Along the way, they’ll build critical thinking, empathy, and a deep appreciation for the extraordinary impact of the smallest lifeforms.
